An active family often has to
snack on the run. Fortunately,
convenience food can be healthy
food. It’s all about balance - and
to one mom’s surprise, chips can
be part of that equation.
Busy parents Lisa and Jeff Jones spend most weeknights shepherding their
kids Michael, lv3, Jennifer, fi, and Madeleine, 9, from school to sports, from
sports to music, from music to swimming, which means that for them,
healthy, delicious snacks on the go are not just a “nice to have” but essential.

they’ve got the energy to make it through,”
says Lisa. “To keep them powered up, 1

benefits. Sunflower and corn oil meanwhile,
are high in mono and polyunsaturated fats
- the "good" fats - that can help maintain
“good” cholesterol levels while decreasing
overall cholesterol in the body. Plus a serving
of Lav’s Classic potato chips have less salt
than you’d think, less than a serving of wheat
or cheese crackers for instance.
Unlike some other snacks, you can feed your
kids Lay’s Classic potato chips without fear
of additives or preservatives. “When another

free, I was doubtful. So I checked the label.
